You have probably noticed that your floor has a different color than when you first install it. No matter how many times you use your mop on it with all the possible cleaners, it remains somehow different. You probably think it’s old, it’s normal, therefore you stick to it as it is and let it go. Back in your industrial ares, what do you do for your soft floors? Use a regular vacuum cleaner and then a very drained mop to take the remaining dust. You probably have a feeling of fear. What if the water gets in and your floor swells? You would definitely love to see your industrial flooring looking like new, or with a glossy and shining look. In order to achieve so, you need a floor buffer. You’ve probably heard of a floor buffer before and odds are, you even saw many of them too, you just didn’t make the connection. They are very common in most supermarkets. Sometimes as you walk between the stands you see a cleaner sitting on a big machine that cleans everything it goes on. That is the industrial advanced version of a floor buffer. The small version available for homes is generally common in the teleshopping commercials.

By the way it looks, you might think an industrial floor buffer is too difficult to use, specially if you are an old fashioned person. Well, it’s piece of cake. First of all, make sure the pad is clean. It is recommended to use a new pad every time, or at least a cleaned one. Also, they come with cutting pads and finishing pads. You can use a cutting pad on a tough surface. Also, for wood for instance, you may like to try the finishing pad. You need to connect the buffer to an electricity source, push the start button and there you go. You don’t need a university degree for that.

Proper cleaning

To ensure a proper cleaning, move the buffer from left to write. The pads move clockwise. A home floor buffer is a beast, so make sure you hold it right and firm. A vacuum cleaner can’t get away from you, but an industrial buffer can. Once in a while, check out the pad. If it’s too dirty, change it. Too much dirt may damage your floor. Also, unplug the buffer when performing any action on it. This is it, say hi to technology and make a nice act, donate your vacuum cleaner to someone who might actually need it.
